On-going staff and technician training is a very important aspect in today’s changing automotive technology. At Star Autobody we are committed to staying abreast of these changes. In addition to journeyman certificates for autobody repair, refinisher, and welding, we employ numerous specialty training and certification programs. I-Car, AMI, MACS, and BASF all help us stay current in specific areas such as new products, advanced repairs procedures, and the latest in automotive technology.
Between our two locations we have a total of 5 acres of land, a 34,000 Sq. Ft. fenced compound, 11,600 Sq. Ft. of shop space with 12 work bays, 2 Paint Booths, and 1 wash bay.
Major frame repairs are possible with our Blackhawk frame repair system, while a wedge clamp gauging system used in conjunction with Mitchell frame dimension guide provides precision and accuracy.
Welding is done by mig or with our new state-of-the-art Car-o-liner Resistance Spot welder. This assures welds of factory quality and appearance.
Our Nova Verta Bake booth provides the latest in downdraft paint curing technology with efficient heat exchangers and a high velocity drying cycle for the new water borne paints.
With our core of dedicated employees and the backing of our suppliers we enjoy a solid reputation and a very loyal customer base.
Our service area centers around the Valleyview district and extends to High Prairie, Fox Creek, Grande Prairie and the surrounding areas.
